ferraus denoise profile merge

Combine noise profiles from several takes into one

Synopsis

ferraus denoise profile merge <inputs...> [options] [-o <output>]

What it does

Merges two or more .noiseprof files learned at the same sample rate. --method max keeps the louder noise of every bin (removes the worst noise seen in any take); --method mean pools the statistics as if all the noise had been profiled at once.

Examples

Keep the louder noise of two takes in every band

ferraus denoise profile merge a.noiseprof b.noiseprof -o c.noiseprof

Average the room tone of three sessions

ferraus denoise profile merge day1.noiseprof day2.noiseprof day3.noiseprof --method mean -o room.noiseprof

One profile that covers the noisier of two microphones, with a JSON summary

ferraus denoise profile merge mic1.noiseprof mic2.noiseprof --method max -o both.noiseprof --json

Options

FlagTypeDefaultMeaning

Global options

Every command also accepts the global options (-o, --json, --dry-run, --overwrite, --progress, ...). See Global options.
